How does the Comprehensive Plan get implemented?
The Comp Plan is implemented in many ways. In some instances, the Comp Plan helps support the creation of new programs or helps resolve land use conflicts. The most common method for implementing the Comp Plan is through review of land use applications. Every development proposal is required to demonstrate that the project can generally support and advance the goals and policies of the Weld County Comprehensive Plan.
