How does the Coastal Management Framework fit with the other levels of government?
The Coastal Management Framework is only one element in improving coastal management in Nova Scotia. The other levels of governmentfederal, municipal, and aboriginalall play distinct and important roles in managing our coast. Collaboration among the different levels of government is a fundamental principle of the Coastal Management Framework. By working together more closely, governments can address priority coastal issues in a more comprehensive and efficient manner.
