How does the Coastal Management Framework fit with other provincial strategies?
The Coastal Management Framework represents a whole of government commitment to coastal management. Coastal management touches upon many different sectors and issues, many of which are addressed through other provincial strategies within the overall direction set out in The New Nova Scotia: A Path to 2020. The Coastal Management Framework will enable the Government of Nova Scotia to better align and focus the priorities, expertise and resources spread across various departments and sectors to advance our common coastal management objectives.
