How does the COA affect how much money can be provided for off-campus housing?
NC Reach funds, when added to all other financial aid, cannot exceed the COA. This means that students need to find off-campus housing situations that are affordable within the limits of the COA unless they are planning to have a roommate or to work to supplement their NC Reach funding. NC Reach cannot pay students more for housing than is permitted with the COA established by their school.
