How does the CIGNA DNASM program work?
Step 1: Enroll in the our DNA program. ID cards will then be mailed directly to your home address. Once you receive your DNA ID card, you can immediately begin to access the discounted dental services. Step 2: Contact a dentist from CIGNA’s nationwide network of over 58,000 dental offices to verify participation in the DNA program and schedule an appointment for service. Or call the toll-free number listed on your DNA ID card to speak with a friendly service representative for assistance in locating a participating network dentist. Step 3: Present your DNA ID card to the dental office and pay the reduced fee in full (based on the CIGNA Dental contracted fee schedule) directly to the dental office. The DNA card MUST be presented at the dental office so that the discount can be applied. Note – dental procedures not included in the DNA network providers negotiated fee schedule may not be subject to a discount. See how easy that is!
