Depends what you mean by “world”. If you mean the people of the world (caring for humanity) The creation account tells us we are made in the image and likeness of God. That means each person has an aspect of the beauty, glory and dignity of God. Believing this changes the way you see yourself, as you see yourself as beautiful and glorious, and it changes the way you see other people. Thus the way we interact with others changes; this is the very foundation for loving your neighbour as yourself. If by the world, you mean the planet: God created a planet, full of diverse and magnificent creatures. He has made us stewards of the Earth, and it is for us not to just live on the Earth, but be responsible stewards. He has given us great gifts in nature, and they are not given for us to squander and abuse, but to use responsibly. Thus, Creation challenges us regarding how we see ourselves, how we treat others, and in how we handle natural resources.
