How does the ‘Check Names’ facility help when addressing emails to other Exchange users?
Open a message window and type in the To: field the surname (or username) of the person to whom you want to send an email. Click on Tools, then Check Names, or alternatively click on the Check Names icon on the Standard Toolbar (man with a tick). Outlook will check and resolve what you have typed against the names of all the other Exchange users in the Global Address list. If there is more than one match, you can select the right one from those displayed. The next time you want to send an email to this person, start typing their surname in the To: field and the AutoComplete feature will automatically suggest the name for you.
