How does the Charity Goal work?
Another option for your child’s tangible Goal is a donation to charity. Agree beforehand that you will donate a determined amount to a charity, after your child earns a certain number of Handipoints. This teaches the virtues of saving for the benefit of others. To set a Charity Goal, follow these steps: • Click on the Savings Goals tab • Select the child you want to set Goals for from the drop-down menu • Click on “Charity” • Set the dollar amount that you’ll donate for your child and the amount of Handipoints they have to earn to earn the donation • Add the name of the charity and an optional picture • Click “Save” to save the Goal or “Cancel” to return to the previous screen Now your child will be able to see and redeem Handipoints for this goal in their HandiLand account.
