How does the change in Girl Scout levels affect summer camp?
Camp Tag-A-Long has typically moved the girls “up” a grade when they come to camp – for example, a rising 4th grader wouls be in a Junior group earning Junior badges. This is going to change. We will have more details as the information is passed along to the Directors, but as of now, a girl who has just completed 3rd grade, and has bridged to Juniors, will still be in a Brownie group as the Girl Scout year doesn’t end until September 30. This will make us more consistent with other Girl Scout summer camps.
