As part of the Certificate Management Service, Entrust provides an application within the customer’s network that interfaces to web servers without needing to install agents on those servers. The application called the Entrust Certificate Manager, communicates automatically with the Entrust Certificate Services certification authority and the managed web servers within a customer’s network to have SSL Web server certificates issued and installed on those web servers. The result can be a significant reduction in the effort to manage the lifecycle of SSL Web server certificates.
