How does the center staff know if my child has a medical condition that will need to be monitored at camp?
The Kids Adventures Medical Plan is monitored by the Kids Adventures Nurse who is registered with and Licensed by the State of Maryland. Each site director or site manager is required to take training to become a Medication Technician who is registered with and Licensed by the State of Maryland and supervised by the Kids Adventures Nurse. Approximately 80% of the Kids Adventures staff are certified in 1st Aid and CPR and are supervised by the Kids Adventures Nurse. The child Health Form includes a section to indicate any medical conditions your child may have. The Site Director and staff are notified and trained on a need to know basis of your childs medical conditions. If you have concerns about your child, please do not hesitate to talk to your childs site director or the Kids Adventures Office. All medical information is handled with strict confidentiality. How do you keep track of the children on field trips? On scheduled field trip days, campers wear their Kids Adventures t-shirt.
