The Canadian Cancer Society supports only the most promising research projects. We collect proposals from scientists in universities and institutes across Canada. Proposals are reviewed by other scientists and funded according to their rankings. Because we want to make progress against cancer as quickly as possible, we fund research only on merit. Research funds are not awarded based on geography.
