How does the Burrell School handle emergencies?
The Burrell School nurse position is full-time. Should a medical emergency/crisis occur, the Burrell school has a team of six staff members trained in CPR/AED and First aid. Basic guidelines for emergency medical procedure are posted throughout the school. The cafeteria staff has also been trained in the Heimlich maneuver and Epi-pen administration.
