We don’t produce coal, it is a naturally occurring resource. Consumption of coal as a source of energy is up to a point ok, as the emission standards of most coal fired power stations are very high. Global warming and climate change are naturally occurring cycles also and mans impact has been minimal. Therefore using coal is ok. Nuclear would be better. Overpopulation is of more concern than any of the above, the world has finite resources of minerals etc. especially water the next war will be fought over water rights.
