How does the Bob Ross technique differ from conventional oil painting?
“Wet-on-wet” paintings are always completed in a single sitting. Special formula paints are used exclusively together with brushes and knives designed solely for this technique. Conventional oil paints will not work effectively with this style of painting.Q: How many lessons will I need to master the technique? A: This will vary from individual to individual, but you will produce an excellent painting at your very first lesson! Like all things worth doing however, practice is required to master the technique and lessons will show what to practice.Q: I haven’t used oil paints before – how difficult are they to use?
