Pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, sections 2521 (VN Regulations) and 2578 (PT Regulations), a crime or act is considered to be substantially related to the qualifications, functions or duties of an LVN or PT if to a substantial degree it evidences present or potential unfitness of an LVN or PT to perform the functions authorized by his/her license in a manner consistent with the public health, safety or welfare.
