How does the BMW Home Shipment Program work?
BMW models that are purchased through the Military Sales Program and delivered to a local desination in Europe now come with US Home Shipment (port to port) included. You may take your BMW to one of several drop-off points located throughout Europe to be trucked to the nearest port of embarkation. There are currently five designated US ports of entry to which your BMW may be shipped. Shipping time is around 4 to 6 weeks to East and West Coast ports respectively. When your BMW arrives at the US port of entry, port clearances may be carried out yourself, or by using an assigned Port Handler(this generates a fee and requires a limited Power of Attorney).
