How does the .biz registry allocate .biz domain names?
All successfully submitted pre-registrations will be combined into a single list by the .biz registry and randomized. Domain names will then be randomly allocated. At the conclusion of the process, the registry will advise of successful and unsuccessful registrations. Domain names allocated during this selection process will only be registered for a minimum of 2 years. Domain names that have a matching claim form will be placed on hold for a thirty-day period to allow any disputes to be resolved.
