How does the Better Government Committee compare to other political action committees?
The ITW BGC has grown significantly over the past four years. In the 2001-2002 election cycle, the BGC raised $66,500. In the 2005-2006 election cycle, we raised $189,000. While that may sound like a lot of money, the National PAC Comparison chart shows what other organizations raised. As you can see, we’re not even close. We’re being outspect by our opponents who have increasingly become internet-based ideological groups.
