How does the Barracuda Junkmail Filter Work?
The Barracuda Junkmail Filter actually “reads” the e-mail and assigns it a “score” based on how likely that message is spam. The higher the likeliness it is spam, the higher the score the message receives. Barracuda then take that score, and compares it to the scores you have assigned in your Quarantine Inbox. The Barracuda Junkmail Filter will then process that message in accordance with your settings. Each message you receive will have the score Barracuda assigned to it in the header information.
