Network Configuration: The System application is a Java-based portal application to the bank that runs from your Windows desktop utilizing standard SSL for the initial exchange of the Triple DES Key and certain HTML based Commercial applications and Triple DES for sessions within the portal. The initial software download page is accessed from your browser over HTTP, TCP Port 80. After launching the application from the icon on your desktop and pressing “Logon”, the initial session is established over HTTPS, TCP Port 443 to exchange the Triple DES Key and receive any new required updates. Once the key has been established, The System will communicate all remainder of traffic over TCP Port 1996, except Host Access and Account Access. If the Host Access function is used, a connection is established over the System Host Access protocol, Port 4242.
