How does the authorization vote work?
It has to be done by paper ballot. When the bargaining team decides to take the vote, details for exactly how balloting are announced, and every union member is given ample opportunity to cast a ballot. While no one will know how you voted, we will ask you to initial a sheet showing that you did vote. If you teach off campus, provision will be made for you to mail your ballot in.
