How does the application placement controller work with WebSphere(R) eXtreme Scale ?
The application placement controller integrates with WebSphere(R) eXtreme Scale . In particular, before stopping a dynamic cluster member that contains a container server, the application placement controller contacts the container server to quiesce any work that is being done, and moves any vital data to backup locations as needed.
