How does the antioxidant activity function?
H- is an ideal electron donor. Oxidation, oxidative stress, free radicals … these words are heard more and more often and have led to the creation of a field of specialised research. During the process of energy production and self-regulation while exposed to the external environment, the body creates unstable molecules which, in order to restabilise, must destabilise other molecules by taking an electron. This is called oxidation cascade, or radical cascade. This chain reaction is a main factor in the aging of the body and its cells. It is a constant process. The means of blocking this phenomenon is to provide electrons to all the molecules of the cascade from a donor electron and thus stopping the chain reaction. This is how H- functions.
