How does the Algaewheel work at night when there is no light?
In our system, the algae in the bacpac will respire at night. However, the algae utilize nutrients when they are both photosynthesizing (using CO2 and producing oxygen) and respiring (using oxygen and producing CO2). Treatment is around the clock. We have tested at night to verify this. Obviously, the bacteria in the system treat around the clock as well.
