Funds from The Weekend to End Breast Cancer fund more than 30 breast cancer projects for researchers in Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge. Your dollars pay for mobile screening buses, with advanced digital mammography, to reach more than 100 rural Alberta communities. The dollars you raise through The Weekend to End Breast Cancer also directly support patients through Positively Pink breast education days and the financial assistance program for patients in need. All breast cancer patients, survivors and thrivers feel the impact of your dollars at work in the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary and 15 associate and community cancer centres across the province.
