How does the Air Wash Material Separation system work for Grain and Seed Cleaning operations ?
The Air Wash handles Grain Cleaning and Seed Cleaning in the same way. We evacuate your dehullers, impacting equipment or staging Silo and convey to the Air Wash Separator. Heavy materials are carried to the outside by centrifugal force and after two to three revolutions are discharged by an air lock. Hulls, foreign material as well as insect and heat damaged kernels are captured by the upward spiraling vortex and are removed through the upper basket and conveyed to a bi product recovery discharge port. The “Air Wash” patented advantage is its ability to modify the size, speed and position of the inner vortex. This allows precise control of material separation, for a wide range of Grain and Seed cleaning applications.
