Unless you have deleted this feature when you set it up, your affiliate will receive a message from you to confirm details of the sale and amount of commission added to his account. Those messages can be sent to you too, if you wish. Of course, the database is updated instantly too, so that the affiliate will see the new transaction as soon as he logs on.
