How does the Aetna Choice POSIIHRA plan work?
• All medical and pharmacy expenses are first paid from the HRA fund until it is exhausted with the exception of your UMatter Preventive Care benefits. The UMatter Preventive Care benefits do not reduce your HRA funds. • The HRA fund reduces your deductible dollar for dollar.Therefore for œemployee only coverage an individual with a $1500 deductible, actually has a $900 deductible since the $600 HRA fund helped reduced the deductible. • After the HRA fund is exhausted, all medical and pharmacy expenses count towards the deductible until it is met with the exception of your UMatter Preventive Care benefits. The UMatter Preventive Care benefits are paid 100% by UM and do not count toward your deductible. • After your deductible is met you pay copays and coinsurance until you reach your out-of-pocket maximum.
