How does the advertising of male sporting stars, create the stereotypical male image in todays society?
Maybe i’m not in contact with what goes on, i know sports stars do a bit of charity and youth work type appearances. But i’m not sure i could agree that sports stars have an influence on our youth directly enough to blame them. If you mean football stars, don’t they have a kind of hero worship view of these stars as spotless Heros, with out blemish. What do you mean but stereotypical, whats wrong with a little football in your life. Boys are naturally physical and like to wrestle and tumble, its cool. I think boys run around more and like to play sport and stuff if you introduce it i think boys must just take to it better, it just suits them it’s not brain washing. I don’t really know what girls do at that age. Girls are cute though it’s cool, they’re gorgeous. What is stereotype then in your mind, i’m kind of confused, that is whats important it sounds like your own research and angle, you are either looking or have an opinion. Men are loud when then play sport, i don’t see your prob.
