How Does the Adult Foster Home Association work?
Adult Foster Homes subscribe to become a member of the Adult Foster Home Association network. Each morning, a facility administrator logs in and updates your current bed availability. Hospital staff or Case Managers and family members are then able to search the Adult Foster Home Association database for the most up-to-date information. They input their patient’s specific needs and only those facilities that have availability that meet the specific patient criteria will be listed, thus allowing hospitals and family members to efficiently place seniors in need of an adult foster home in the proper facility.
