How does the address search work in Maps 2.0?
If you have allowed Maps 2.0 to use a mobile internet connection, the search is carried out on the map server on the internet, and the search results are downloaded to your mobile device. If you have not allowed a mobile internet connection or if there is no mobile internet connection available, the address is searched from the maps currently available in your mobile device. Without an internet connection, street names are searched in the city you are currently in, and city names are searched in the country you are currently in. If sufficient map data is not available, no results may be found for a specific query. Searching for addresses without an internet connection (offline search) saves in data transfer costs, but may also lead to poorer search results.
