How does the 5-year enrollment window affect my DROP participation?
Effective November 1, 2008, the definitive ending date for DROP has been removed. Members can continue to enter DROP until it has been determined otherwise. However, the program must be evaluated no less than every five years. You may stay in DROP for a maximum of five years from your date of entry. Your DROP participation will be subject to the provisions in effect at the time you enter the program.
