How does the 1300 number work when i am overseas?

Emergency personnel can access the 1300 number from overseas. The caller simply dials the normal ‘Country of origin international access code – ie the code to call out of the country they are in) then they call the Country code for Australia, which is 61. Then our 1300 number.
