How does the 10th amendment impact americans today?
Today the government totally ignores the 10th Amendment. The intent of the amendment was to limit the powers of the federal government to ONLY the things listed in the constitution. All other powers would go to the states or to the people. All Social Programs and most executive departments would be eliminated if this amendment was enforced.
