How does the 10th amendment apply to us today?
The Tenth Amendment is similar to an earlier provision of the Articles of Confederation: “Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.” In a way it does, because we see that some states have bans on products that others do not. Many cases are brought upon by state decisions. Some states allow marijuana some state don’t and same w/ fireworks. as well as other decisions. so yes we still follow that today. Except when this amendment was created we did not have much of a federal government.As well we were a brand new country but we still use all of them today.
