How does Tempur-Pedic memory foam compare to other types of memory foam?
Tempur-Pedic uses a high density foam resulting in a fairly firm mattress. Our 5 lb density memory foam mattresses will closely replicate the feel and performance of a Tempur-Pedic mattress but will not be identical. Memory foam mattresses using a lower density top layer, are therefore less firm. A less firm memory foam mattress may be preferable to the higher density version if you are looking for something a little softer”. A person experiencing pain in pressure points, such as shoulders and hips, would find a lower density mattress more comfortable.
