How does Teen Challenge Lifeline operate?
Teen Challenge Lifeline holds weekly classes in a non-church location, ideally in a rented storefront. Before a person can enter a Lifeline program, an extensive questionnaire must be completed and signed. The Lifeline advisor will recommend care in a long-term Teen Challenge residential center, if, based on the questionnaire, that appears to be the most appropriate care for the person’s life-controlling problem. If residential care is not recommended or is not possible for the person at that time, the person must complete all eight classes, along with participation in a local church. Following completion of the classes, the Lifeline student then graduates into a church-based recovery program. We recommend Turning Point.
