How does teaching an in-district class differ from presenting a site workshop or inservice?

0

Site workshops or inservices are pre-approved by the principal and/or the activity coordinator as well as the Director of Staff Development. In-district classes are authorized by the Director of Staff Development and Instructional Services. Teachers who develop and teach pre-approved in-district classes must use the The HLIR Form and complete district requirements. This information can be obtained through the Director of Staff Development and Instructional Services at the Instructional Resource Center. No credit is given for planning time, only actual presentation time.
