How does System Tuner recover disk space?
System Tuner finds recoverable disk space in the following places: • Temporary Internet Files—Your web browser uses these local copies of full or partial Web pages to display pages more quickly. • Recycle Bin—This desktop folder allows you to recover deleted files. • Temporary Files—Windows and other programs store files used temporarily here. While most programs automatically delete these temporary files, some programs do not, or abandon them after encountering problems. • Downloaded Program Files—Your web browser may download Java applets and ActiveX controls from visited websites that you will not reuse. • Offline Files—These copies of websites saved on your computer only become useful if you have limited Internet access.
