How does SureThing access playlist information on my CD?
SureThing has two ways of getting PlayList information from your CD. The first way is through a feature called CD Text. CD Text is a feature that most CD burning software supports. When the CD is made the information is written into a data string for each song. CD Text can hold tons of information, like song title, time, artist, producer, etc… CD Text works best with compilation CD’s because it’s a feature included with most CD burning software and if you are making a compilation CD, the track information won’t be available on the internet databases. If your CD doesn’t have CD Text on it (many production CD’s don’t) then SureThing can go to the internet and download the track information for your CD. This is only possible with production CD’s.
