How does Sunflower Broadband Telephone Service work?
Most telephone service providers currently provide your telephone service over copper wires that attach to a “box” on the outside of your home or apartment. Sunflower Broadband is deploying advanced technology, allowing the telephone service to be delivered on the same coaxial cable that delivers our video services and high-speed Internet access. When you choose Sunflower Broadband as your communications provider, our highly skilled technicians will install a Network Interface Device (“NID”) on the side of your home or in a common place within an apartment. Similar in size to your current “box,” the NID functions as the central point where our technicians will connect all of your Sunflower Broadband voice, video and data services.
