How does Sugar Cane Grow?
Sugar cane is typically grown in tropical climates. Sugar cane plants require direct sunlight as well. Make sure that you begin planting your sugar cane plant by first cutting the stalk of the plant into two rings. Then you will need to take a pot that is wide enough so that the pieces may be planted horizontally within the pot. After planting the pieces horizontally within the wide pot, cover the pot to protect it from humidity if you live in a high humidty area for two to three weeks until the shoot of the plant develops. Remove the plastic bag around the pot once the plant begins to develop sprouts.
