How does Student Loan People E-Pay work?
You just type in the payment information on the Make Payment page and your payment is sent electronically to us. When scheduling a payment, it is important to remember that the date you type in Payment Date is the date that you want us to receive your payment. This is usually the due date that is printed on your bill. However, it is a good idea to schedule your payment by 1:00 PM EST the day before your due date. After a payment is scheduled, it appears on the Payment Activity page with a status of Scheduled. After the payment is sent to us, the status changes to Processed.
