How does STORE support customer billing?
A One unique feature of STORE is the ability to configure the system to automatically transmit billing information to a centralized mailing facility. Since the data for all your sites resides in a centralized database, billing is accomplished on a daily basis during the nightly processing (day close) functions. STORE automatically determines all mailings that must occur, whether they be invoicing, late notices, welcome letters, etc. An electronic copy of all letters is sent to a central printing facility located in Salt Lake City where the letters are printed the next day and receive the benefit of bulk pricing on 1st class postage. (The savings per letter in postage alone is approximately 6 cents per piece – factor in the labor costs of manually preparing the mailings and the savings can be significant.)
