How does staph infection begin (first few symptoms)?
It can start out as a pimple/boil/. It can pop up anywhere. I was bit by a brown recluse spider on my stomache and it ended up getting infected with staph. The skin started oozing this milky puss looking stuff and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days on IV antibiotics. After awhile the area starts peeling because the skin is starting to rot. I had to have a surgeon cut out the rotten skin leaving a hole to close up on its own. I have gotten staph again on the back of my leg. They say that once you have or had staph it is in your body. Practice good hygeine, wash your hands often. I do practice good hygeine and I still dont know how I got it. I have since went and bought a whole bunch of hand sanitizer and Lysol. After washing with soap and water, I use the hand sanitizer on top of it.
