In a two year study, researchers at the University of Maryland, found Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution “is more effective than household bleach in controlling common mold fungi found in building materials, including mold like Chaetomium globosum and Aspergillus niger.” The researchers also found that Sporicidin had a continuous residual antifungal (antimicrobial) effect for over 4 months after application.
