How does sperm donation work?
Sperm donation will mean several trips back and forth to the fertility clinic. Over the course of a month or two, you’ll make visits to the clinic to give a sperm sample. Between ten and twenty sperm samples in total is typical. The sperm you donate is frozen using tanks of liquid nitrogen. Sperm donors have to return to their fertility clinic six months after their last sample is frozen, to be re-screened for certain health problems, so the time commitment can be up to a year.
