How does Spamatak know what email messages are spam?
Training builds a statistical model of spam and non-spam emails. During training, Spamatak will treat all emails in the designated spam folder as spam, and all other emails as non-spam. If the spam folder is empty, sample spam mails that are provided with Spamatak will be used. Spamatak uses the statistical filter to determine whether a new email received is spam or not.
