How does Skip the Download work?
Skip the Download redirects file links on a web page to our download service. Instead of downloading the page to your computer through your own connection, the page will be transferred to your Xdrive using our fast, secure server-to-server connection. After the download is complete, you can access the file anytime, from anywhere using Xdrive Web or Desktop. It’s a great way to store all of your archived content in a secure, centralized location. To use Skip the Download with Xdrive Desktop: Right-click the link to the page that you would like to download. Select Save To Xdrive from the menu. When prompted, enter your Xdrive username and password to begin the Skip the Download process. When the process completes, click Open My Xdrive to go to your Xdrive, or click the Close Window button to close the Skip the Download window. The page is copied into a folder called Web Grab in your Xdrive account.
